Feel More in Control: ADHD Coaching with Compassion & Clarity
Coaching That Meets You Where You Are
Support for adults navigating ADHD and everyday life challenges.
Living with ADHD can be VERY frustrating!
You might find yourself
Feeling overwhelmed and overstimulated
Struggling with time management or task-switching
Stuck in cycles of burnout, procrastination, or shame
People with ADHD are often told they’re ‘just lazy’ and have ‘so much potential’ but HOW are you supposed to REALISE that potential, right?
That’s where I come in.
I offer private, 1:1 ADHD Therapeutic Coaching & Support, online and in-person in St Albans, Herts.
I have ADHD too, so I know what it can be like.
I know that you ARE trying. And I’m here to help you figure out how to manage your ADHD so you can create the life you want.
What is ADHD Therapeutic Coaching?
ADHD Therapeutic coaching offers practical, non-judgmental support and ideas.
It helps you understand WHY and HOW your ADHD interferes with your life.
It will also give you skills and strategies to prevent that from happening, going forward.
Together, we’ll work to:
Understand how ADHD shows up in your day-to-day life
Build routines and structure without burning out
Break through avoidance and get things done
Understand your attention patterns and energy cycles
Feel less shame and more self-compassion
Create sustainable strategies that actually work for your brain
This is a collaborative, process, led by you.
It’s grounded in coaching AND psychotherapy.
It will be tailored to your specific needs, to help you achieve your goals.
Is ADHD Coaching Right For Me?
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to benefit from ADHD coaching.
Whether you've been recently diagnosed, are self-diagnosed, or are still figuring things out, I can help you move forward positively.
You might be:
Having work issues due to losing track of time or deadlines
Having relationship issues due to your ADHD symptoms
Feeling disorganised, overwhelmed, or burnt out
Suffering with crippling perfectionism, procrastination, or low self-trust
The coaching can help you build awareness and work with—not against—your brain.
The therapeutic aspect supports you emotionally, so that you can stop beating yourself up and starting making real, positive, practical changes.
What to Expect in Sessions
Sessions are 50 minutes, once a week and are either held online or in-person.
We work together for as long as you find it useful.
We’ll begin by getting clear on what you’d like to change or improve, and we’ll move at a pace that suits you.
I’ll offer gentle structure, supportive accountability, and space for emotional reflection—always with friendly, compassionate curiosity.
ADHD coaching and therapeutic support is as much about helping you to build up your self-confidence and your resilience as it is about putting in the logistical bits.
It’s designed to help you be more productive and focused.
A brilliant blend of practical tips, psychotherapeutic support to help you succeed, wherever you are in your neurodivergent journey.
So yep. It’s good stuff.
Why Work with Me?
I’m a qualifed Counsellor, Psychotherapist & ADHD Coach who also has ADHD.
My clients often tell me that they feel very seen, understood and supported because the way I work resonates clearly with them.
My ADHD clients KNOW that I ‘get it’, and that feels very encouraging to them.
As a qualified therapist I am experienced at tapping into the emotional components that tend to keep people with ADHD trapped in negative behaviours and relational styles.
ADHD management is not just all about schedules and reminders (although those can help,) it’s all about emotional regulation.
As an experienced ADHD Coach I’m here for you with strategies and practices that really work for the ADHD brain.
As a person with ADHD, I’m very familiar with the common pitfalls and problems we tend to experience.
I will support you to learn how to balance your emotions, so that you can get off the ADHD pendulum swing.
I want to help you empower yourself, and to know that you can act from a calmer, more purposeful place.

““I didn’t even know I had ADHD when I started seeing Ali for counselling.
When she suggested that I might want to get assessed, I was surprised, relieved but also afraid.
Ali helped and supported me through the whole process.
When I was diagnosed I felt like I might be using ADHD as an excuse.
Ali is helping me work through all my hopes and fears, as well as navigate practical obstacles (like working out how to actually regularly order, pick up and take my ADHD meds!)
She is helping me figure out how to succeed in the work-place, despite my executive dysfunction issues.
She’s a legend!””
Just a few last words from Ali on adult ADHD coaching:
As a qualified and experienced counsellor & psychotherapist who also lived undiagnosed with ADHD for most of my adult life, I just wanted to say:
I get it.
I get that it’s probably been a rough ride already.
That you’ve felt different, or unsupported, or incapable of doing things that seem pretty easy for everyone else.
And I also know the kind of havoc that can play on a person’s self-confidence, self-esteem, and their own perception and acceptance of themselves.
But… I also know what it looks like on the other side of support.
I had counselling, and coaching - I sought support, and it changed how I saw and related to the world.
It helped me transform my perception of myself.
I felt supported to create a happier, more satisfying life.
And it’s why I’m offering ADHD Therapeutic Coaching now.
I’m pretty uniquely placed to help you understand and process those hopes and fears for your future, and to work out a strategy for self-compassionate understanding that allows you to work towards your goals with (rather than against,) your ADHD.
Don’t struggle alone because you deserve help and support to feel better.
